I KNOW WHO I AM

I am God's child (John 1:12)

- Hari Murt Kridalaksana (1993)

Sintaksis adalah subsistem bahasa yang mencakup tentang kata yang sering dianggap bagian dari gramatika yaitu morfologi dan cabang linguistic yang mempelajari tentang kata.

- Ramlah (2001:18)

Istilah sintaksis (Belanda, Syntaxis) ialah bagian atau cabang dari ilmu bahasa yang membicarakan seluk beluk wacana, kalimat, klausa dan frase.

- Gleason (1955)

“Syntax maybe roughly defined as the principles of arrangement of the construction (word) into large constructions of various kinds.”

Artinya: sintaksis mungkin dikaitkan dari definisi prinsip aransement konstruksi (kata) kedalam konstruksi besar dari bermacam-macam variasi.

- Ramlah (1976:57)

Sintaksis adalah bagian dari tata bahasa yang membicarakan struktur farase dan kalimat.
